Alamo car hire unveiled its Drive-Out program for the Florida region today March 10th. This system allows car hire customers to avail of cheap one way rates, avoid drop charges and have the use of a Sat Nav system free of charge.

The plans covers travel from various cities in Florida. Cars ranging from budget to full size to people carriers can be rented for low rates. The rental car must then be dropped off at an agreed location in Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi South Carolina, and Georgia.

Slightly more expensive deals are available if you are dropping the hire car off at agreed locations in other states such as Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New Mexico, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, , Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia
Nebraska, New Hampshire, and New York.

Rob Hibbard of Alamo spoke of the need for such a service with many people driving home at this time of year. He also spoke of the benefits it provides to Alamo in changing fleet locations after the last quarter.

Rental cars must be booked twenty four hours in advance with a maximum rental period of twenty one days. Sat Nav must be selected at the booking stage.
