Authorities at Sanford Airport say that they are dealing successfully with the problems brought on by the collapse of XL Airways. Rescue flights have been organized as quickly and efficiently as possible for stranded passengers

10 XL Airways flights were due to depart between Thursday and Monday at Sanford Airport. Another 15 flights are due to depart by September 25th

Virgin Atlantic has come to the rescue of XL Airways passengers. The flights have been managed by Virgin Atlantic and Omni. From here on passengers can be assured that there will be a flight waiting for them at their scheduled departure time.
